THINK FISHING WITH DES SHIPP
Welcome to Issue 49 of Think Fishing. We were well into May at the time of filming and and we had warm weather, cool weather, wet weather and everything in between over the previous week or two. These changeable conditions make fishing very tricky at this time year and when you combine that with the fact that the fish were spawning or preparing to spawn, catching them was going be really challenging.
We had very bright, warm conditions for filming with a good breeze blowing and, as we all know, the fish tend to follow the wind because that's where all the food gets blown. But, what if you don't draw sock on in a corner where the wind is blowing into? What if you're at the opposite end of the lake? Well, there are still things you can do to catch plenty of fish and even catch as much as anglers who have the wind in their favour and in this issue I'm showing you my approach to catching fish from unfancied areas in tricky conditions on Arles Pool at Woodland View. Hope you enjoy it!
