Welcome to Issue 44 of Think Fishing and just like last month, I’ve caved in once again and am fishing a match because I know you all really like to see how I get on under some pressure and the decisions I make and (and when) when I’m fishing against other anglers. It’s always good to film these matches but it’s not easy for me because we also have a job to do and make sure we get a good video for you guys at the end of it.

But, things are different in matches when there’s bait going in all around you and the fish behave differently to when you’re pleasure fishing and you haven’t got other anglers around you piling the bait in. So this month I’m back at Ivy House Lakes to fish one of their Tuesday opens on both the canal style lakes… should be interesting as there’s a good turnout and there will be good and not so good areas to draw.
